Let me share my experience with this chapter.
When I first started Physics, this chapter didn’t seem very tough — and honestly, it isn’t. But the reason it feels confusing at first is that it includes almost every formula you’ll encounter in Class 11 and Class 12 Physics.

After the long break following Class 10 board exams, it’s normal to feel a little lost. But trust me, you don’t need to memorize all those formulas right now. You’ll learn and understand them gradually as you move through other chapters.

For now, just focus on understanding the basic concepts —
👉 What are units?
👉 What are dimensions?
👉 Which quantities can be added or compared?

Once you understand that, move on to the next chapter. Personally, I don’t even consider this a full chapter — it’s more like an introduction.

The mistake I made was trying to memorize every formula right from the start. That wasted over a month and created a big backlog in my studies. So, don’t get stuck here. Just watch a short lecture, read through the basics, and move ahead.

Later, when you complete your first Physics book and come back to this chapter, you’ll realize that you already remember most of the formulas naturally.

So follow this advice — it’ll save you a lot of time and frustration. Many students, including me, faced the same issue at the beginning.
